If your dad loves local motorsport and history
The result of 26 years of exhaustive research by author André Loubser, Kyalami The Book is a must for anyone interested in the spectacular history of the original Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in South Africa.
Its 411 pages and 1 180 photos provide a definitive history of the original circuit which drew up to 100 000 spectators for the SA Grands Prix, the 9 Hour endurance races and its derivatives.
Besides documenting the races that took place at Kyalami (with some incredibly rare photography) from 1961 to 1987, Kyalami The Book also details the birth of motorsport in South Africa -a "motoring tournament" held at the Green Point Cycle Track in Cape Town in 1903 - and includes a DVD with 80 minutes of rare footage of; the 1969 Republic Day Race, 1969 SA Grand Prix, 1975 SA Grand Prix prize-giving speeches, four laps of on-board footage with Derek Bell in a Porsche 956 and three laps with Alain Prost in a F1 Renault taken during practice for the 1983 SA Grand Prix.

If dad's first car was a Citi Golf
Volkswagen's iconic Golf 1 will forever be fondly remembered by South Africans, not only because it saw the brand (and many local car owners) move on from the Beetle, but because it stayed part of our automotive landscape for much longer than the designers and engineers in Germany had intended.
When the Golf Mk2 arrived in the early '80s, Volkswagen South Africa decided to continue with the Mk1 as a more affordable entry-level car, and so the Citi Golf was born, initially in its trademark Red, Yellow, Blue NOT Green, colour scheme.
This print, limited to only 50 numbered copies (in both A2 and A3 sizes) features the initial colour scheme that was so loved at the time and will brighten up any office or man-cave. Printed on high-quality paper with a satin finish, this print looks best behind glass with a thin frame (not included).
If dad misses the glory days of Group N Racing
Born to win... The legend of the Opel Kadett Superboss is unforgettable. Designed to kill one of South Africa's most iconic cars (the BMW 325iS) on the track, the Superboss was a pure homologation special, a car designed with the racetrack in mind first. With Mike Briggs behind the wheel it was near unbeatable in South African Group N racing, taking the title three times in a row.
This A2 print is limited to 50 numbered copies. Printed on high-quality paper with a satin finish. Frame not included.

This new limited-edition A2 print features 3 of the most memorable cars, the Basil Green-developed Capri Perana, the Cortina XR6 Interceptor and, of course, the Sierra XR-8. All of these cars were built in limited numbers and are increasingly regarded as highly collectable.

If dad is a Mercedes-Benz lover
The so-called "Pagoda" SL has been one of the darlings of the classic car world in recent years, with values sky-rocketing. The Pagoda name stems from its slightly concave hard-top. Available only with inline 6-cylinder engines, the W113-generation SL had a long and successful model life, spanning from 1963 to 1971. Just shy of 50 000 units were built.
This print, featuring images created exclusively for SentiMETAL, stunningly depicts the W113 Roadster in detail and is limited to numbered 50 copies (only in A2).
