The GMC 100 series of pick-ups from the late '50s are some of the most desirable American light trucks among collectors and customizers. This incredible "black-on-black" custom '58 model has been modernized where it matters (Mazda BT-50 chassis and suspension), but gets a sinister new look and benefits from amazing attention to detail. 

The heart of this truck is a 350 Ci (5.7L) Chevy V8 but this one is a little tricked out with Edelbrock Heads, a large 4-barrel carburettor and a new intake giving it a "little more than" standard power. Sending all that muscle to the rear wheels is a hardy TH 700 transmission with its 4-speed overdrive system.

The exterior custom work extends into the cabin, too. It is fitted with two modern seats giving you support in all the right places and a classic-looking but updated instrument cluster. Also fitted is a neat wood-rim steering wheel and a large, modern infotainment screen. In the rear the wood-trimmed loadbay catches the eye.
