Even in standard trim the Lotus Elise makes for an exhilarating car to drive on a challenging piece of road, and is also suitable for track use. With its light weight, rigid chassis and mechanical feel, it provides a sensory overload that today's sportscars simply can't match.  

This beautiful 2002 example is finished in silver, with a black interior sporting newly reupholstered seats (with Alcantara), and more of this material on the door inserts and steering wheel. 

Mounted behind the seats is a 1.8L turbocharged 4-cylinder 20-valve engine from VW/Audi with its accompanying transmission. There are a number of performance-enhancing goodies, too, including; PEC con-rods, Wossner forged pistons, T3T4 hybrid turbo, Bosch 550cc injectors, Excell wastegate, ABF flywheel, air-to-water intercooler, EBC yellow brakes, EMU ECU master classic, electronic boost control and an exhaust by Rabbit Auto.
