There were a lot of naysayers when Porsche first launched the Cayenne SUV just after the start of the new millennium, but the performance and overall dynamic ability of the vehicle soon silenced critics, if not aesthetes. 

The second-generation addressed the issue of design convincingly, and even more so after the facelift. The GTS derivative in particular makes quite a performance statement, and it's got the bite to match bark...

It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 that develops a whopping 324kW and 600Nm of torque. The engine is mated with a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission.
